Funeral arrangements for Colin Foley

The funeral of Colin Foley will take place in Navan on Saturday morning, following the young Navan man's sudden death on Christmas Eve.

Colin, son of Marie and Des Foley of Castle View, Athlumney, died suddenly after taking ill at his home, aged 23.

His father is a director of services with Meath County Council, and his mother is a member of the Long family, Tara.

Colin is very sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, grandmother Nancy Long, Belper, Tara, grandfather John, Navan, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.

House private from 2pm on Thursday. Reposing in the Fitzsimons Funeral Home, Navan from 1pm on Friday afternoon, with removal at 6.30pm to arrive in St. Mary's Church at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 10am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan ( circa 1.30pm). Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Injured Jockeys Fund.
