Síle Seoige to judge the racecourse style on Troytown Day

TV presenter and wellness speaker Síle Seoige is the celebrity judge for Navan Racecourse’s Winter Ladies Day on Sunday 25th November which features the Ladbrokes Troytown Chase.

There are €1500 worth of prizes up for grabs and the best dressed lady will walk away with an €800 spending spree for Navan Town Centre and a luxurious weekend break for two in the Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel in Co Tipperary (courtesy of Cusack Hotel Group). The four finalists will win a €50 voucher for Navan Town Centre and afternoon tea at the Newgrange Hotel.

Ladies are advised to arrive early with registration taking place in the ladies’ day marquee located close to the parade ring from 12noon. During the afternoon, Síle will shortlist five finalists and the overall winner will be announced in the parade ring at 3pm.

Síle Seoige said: “I am thrilled to be part of this fantastic day and look forward to seeing the winter racing style. I will be looking for an outfit that is winter appropriate yet demonstrates the ladies’ individuality.”

Peter Killeen, Navan Racecourse Manager said: “Ladbrokes Troytown Day is our flagship National Hunt fixture of the year and the Winter Ladies Day really adds to the atmosphere. We are looking forward to welcoming Síle to County Meath and meeting our very stylish racegoers. It’s brilliant to have Navan Town Centre involved again this year and to welcome Cusack Hotel Group on board as co-sponsor of the Winter Ladies Day.”

Pat Mullaney, Navan Town Centre commented: “Navan Town Centre is delighted to continue its partnership with Navan Racecourse and their Winter Ladies Day for the sixth year. The race day always attracts a great crowd and we will have plenty of outfit inspiration in Navan Town Centre in the run up to Sunday November 25.”

The day also plays host to top-class National Hunt racing including the competitive Grade B Ladbrokes Troytown Chase as well as a strong supporting card including the Monksfield Novice Hurdle (Grade 3), the Proudstown Handicap Hurdle (Grade B) and the Red Mills Irish EBF Auction Maiden Hurdle.
