No changes to emergency and acute services at Navan Hospital

It's been confirmed that Our Lady's Hospital in Navan will retain its full compliment of emergency and acute staff through to June 2019.
In a response to a question to the Regional Health Forum, Mary Day, head of the Ireland East Hospital Group said that there are no plans to change services at the hospital.
Welcoming the news Cllr Wayne Forde - a long time advocate of patient services at Our Lady's said it was fantastic news for patient care and safety of his constituents living in Meath.
"Early intervention is vital in emergency treatment and improves patient outcomes."
He said he would maintaining pressure on Govt and Fianna Fail TDs to secure major capital investment to build on to the hospital campus at Navan in order to return more acute and elective services.
