Trim wins Meath Tidy Towns Award

Trim is Meath's tidiest town - having been announced as county winners at the National Tidy Towns award ceremony in the Dublin's Helix today .
The town has taken the crown from 22-in-a-row winners Moynalty and is nipping at the heels of overall national winners, Listowel.
Trim has won a gold medal with 334 points, just five behind Listowel and one ahead of Moynalty who won a silver medal in this year's competition.
Athboy took third place in the county and was highly commended with 317 points.
