Toner turns attention to North American tour
This week Devin Toner will focus on his preparations for the North American tour with the Irish rugby team after he achieved a unique double success with Leinster.
Toner was in impressive form as Leinster defeated Ulster 24-18 in the Rabodirect Pro 12 final before a packed RDS last Saturday.
The previous week he also played his part as the Blues overcame Stade Francaise in the Amlin Challenge Cup decider.
The giant Moynalvey lock forward has already won six senior caps for Ireland and looks odds on to add to that collection on the forthcoming tour.
Ireland take on the USA in the BBVA Compass Stadium in Houston Texes on Sunday 9th June, kick-off 1.30am (Irish time) before travelling to the BMO Field, Toronto where the game against Canada is scheduled to be played on Sunday 16th June, 1.0am (Irish time). Both games will be live on TG4.
Toner made his senior international debut in November 2010 against Samoa and went to make appearances as a substitute against the All Blacks and Argentina in subsequent weeks.
