All so easy for Meath hurlers at Trim

Cillian Farrell's Meath side made it three wins from three in the NHL Div 2B when they defeated Mayo 1-19 to 1-11 at Trim. Adam Gannon scored Meath's goal after 24 minutes and along with eight points from Steven Clynch the wind-assisted home side led 1-14 to 0-1 at the interval. Clynch split the posts again for his team in the second-half this time from play. Mayo's goalkeeper Donal O'Brien scored a goal from a free in the second-half but Meath always looked comfortable to leave them within touching distance of qualifying for the final. They play Roscommon next and then Armagh.
