Another win for camogie team

Meath recorded another win in the National Camogie League Div 2 in Navan today when they proved too strong for Antrim with a 2-6 to 1-3 victory.

This was a tough game and Meath had to battle against the substantial elements in the opening half and trailed by 1-1 to 1-3 at the interval.

Katie Hackett got Meath's goal in the opening half and was also denied a second goal by the woodwork close to the interval.

The Royal County dominated the third-quarter and when Aoife Maguire found the net midway through the half it boosted Meath to a 2-5 to 1-3 advantage.

Meath survived a late Antrim rally and will now prepare for their first joust with Limerick next Saturday.
