Meath carer wins regional Carer of the Year Award
A carer with over 20 years of experience and working with clients in Meath was named the regional winner of the Comfort Keepers Carer of the Year Awards 2025.
Bridget Agnew lives in Louth and works from the Comfort Keepers hub in Navan.
“Bridget is a natural carer, bringing calm and compassion to any setting and putting people at ease,” said CEO of Comfort Keepers Collette Gleeson.
“She is a fabulous ambassador for Comfort Keepers and a very deserving regional winner.”
Bridget received the award due to her compassion, consistent high standards in caring and all aspects of healthcare, and her dedication to her work. The official award was given to Bridget alongside family, friends, and colleagues at an event held in Croke Park which celebrated the 2025 Regional Carer of the Year Winners. She was one of ten finalists chosen from across the country.
Bridget said she was “honoured to receive this recognition for helping my Meath clients to live in the comfort of their home, and I’m thankful for all my colleagues and my family who have supported me throughout my career.
“This is a very important but satisfying and fulfilling job – and to do it well, you have to care, take pride in your work, constantly aim for high standards, and reach out for support if you need it.”
Comfort Keepers has been operating since 2005 and has 15 locations across the country, including its Navan hub which employs over 120 people.
