Elliott remains winless after day three of Cheltenham.

Gordon Elliott's wait for a winner at this year's festival continued through day three as favourite Teahupoo fell short in the Stayers Hurdle.

Gordon Elliott's Teahupoo went off the 7/4 favourite for the feature race, the Stayers hurdle on Day three. Elliott was hopeful that last year's champion would get him off the mark at the Festival but it wasn't to be as Bob Olinger, who was in the same colours as Teahupoo was delivered late by Rachel Blackmore and won by a length and three-quarters.

Gavin Cromwell's Sixandahalf finished second in the opener, the Mares Novice Hurdle. Keith Donoghue looked comfortable aboard the five-year-old as the pair jumped the last and pushed on for the win, however, just as she did on Bob Olinger a few hours later, Rachel Blackmore delivered a late challenge aboard Air Of Entitlement to pip the 85/40 favourite.

In the penultimate contest, Meath horses looked in good shape turning into the straight. Conflated (Gordon Elliott), Seddon (John McConnell) and Thecompanysergeant (Gavin Cromwell) were all prominent and looked to have a good chance. Conflated and Seddon weakened which left Thecompanysergeant in a battle with the 3/1 favourite Jagwar. The Jonjo O'Neill-ridden Jagwar came out on top of Cromwell's contender to score by two and three-quarter lengths.
