Eamonn O Donnchadha made a big contribution to Clann na nGael's win.

Clann na nGael far too strong for the 'Mill

In-form Clann na nGael showed their scoring prowess when they defeated Boardsmill 5-21 to 2-11 at tropical Kildalkey this evening.

The victory ensures the fight for the top two places in Group B of the SHC will go right down to the final stroke of the ball.

Kevin McGovern's young side were outstanding at times in this evening's one-sided affair with marksman Joe Ennis helping himself to 2-14 in a powerful display.

Another of McGovern's young, talented guns Eamonn O Donnchadha registered 3-2 while Diarmuid O'Donnchadha capped a powerhouse display with four points and some incisive play.

Boardsmill struggled to cope with their opponents' intensity. Danny Dixon scored two goals while Liam O'Brien hit seven points but they were no match for Clann na nGael on the kind of form they displayed.
