Raise a toast to Slane’s heritage

Slane Castle’s flagship event for Heritage Week 2022 is 'My Home Is My Castle', an exclusive tour of Slane Castle led by Alex Conyngham, the Earl of Mount Charles (pictured), on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August only. The Slane Castle Estate is open every day during Heritage Week (Saturday 13th-Sunday 21st August) with guided castle tours running every day.

My Home Is My Castle includes access to areas not normally on view to the public and concludes with a Slane Irish Whiskey cocktail using whiskey from Slane Distillery on the estate. Limited to 20 people per tour, My Home is My Castle takes place at 2.30pm on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August only, at a special Heritage Week price of €35 per person. Slane Castle has a fascinating history intertwined with that of the Conyngham family who have lived there since 1703.

Slane Castle tours take place every day during Heritage Week at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm at €14 for adults.
