Kells Gardai investigating vandalisation and theft at local school

Gardaí in Kells are investigating an incident where a local school was vandalised and a number of items stolen from the grounds.

At approximately 10.30pm on Thursday July 28th a group of up to six youths were observed on the grounds of Carlanstown National School in Kells.

According to a social media post on the Meath Crime Prevention page, the youths were seen checking the doors of the school to see if they were unlocked, knocking over plant pots, moving goal posts and removing several items from the playground.
