Trim food truck to feature on RTE Show

Popular Trim food van 'Once upon a Thai' run by chef John O'Neill features in Wednesday night's episode of Paul Flynn's Favourite Food Trucks on RTE One at 8pm.

The final episode of the series sees Paul focusing on food trucks serving wonderful pork dishes. He travels to West Cork to meet Caitlin Ruth at her food truck and learn how she makes her special pork sandwich. Also featured in the programme will be, Once Upon A Thai, ran by John O' Neill in Trim.

John has been working as a chef in professional kitchens in Ireland, England and Australia for the past 18 years. He first visited Thailand in 2003 and instantly fell in love with Thai food, people and their culture. He met his future wife Auan in Thailand in 2011, who is also an wonderful cook and shares his passion for Thai food.

Having noticed they could not find anywhere to eat in Ireland that delivered the authentic Thai street food flavour and after doing a lot of research they decided to start a food truck serving genuinely authentic Thai Street food, and so Once Upon a Thai was born.

Paul Flynn's Favourite Food Trucks airs at 8pm on RTE One on Wednesday, 10th August.
