Dry with good sunny spells

Weather to become gradually warmer from Tuesday onwards.

Sunday will be mainly dry for most of the country, with some good sunny spells isolated showers, mostly confined to the western areas.

Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds, Met Eireann confidently forecast.

Sunday night will remain dry in many places, along with scattered showers, particularly in the west and northwest.

These downfalls of rain are expected to spread further inland towards morning.

Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.

The outlook is that the weather will become gradually warmer from Tuesday onwards as high pressure continues to build.

“It will stay generally dry through the middle of next week although there will be some showers at times. Daytime temperatures reaching the high teens or low twenties.”
