The official opening of Millbrook Market, the newest and most exciting addition to the Navan retail scene, took place on Saturday with Minister for Business, Employment and Retail, Damien English performing the official ribbon cutting ceremony. There was fun for all the family with magical Disney characters, face painting, competitions, refreshments and music from the LMFM roadster on site.

Millbrook Market opened its doors at Kennedy Road last December and has proved a major hit with customers far and wide.

Part of the Millbrook Foods Group, the new retail outlet gives customers the opportunity to purchase and enjoy restaurant quality food in their own homes. Founded in 1926 the Millbrook Foods Group is a local family owned business supplying the hospitality industry for almost 100 years and their trucks are a familiar sight on the roads around Navan, Athboy, Trim and Kells.

The new store has an unparalleled selection of top quality fresh and frozen food products alongside pantry essentials from home and abroad including many lines not previously available in Meath.

Amongst the many enticing products from local producers are cheese products from Sheridan's, Maria Lucia’s range of keto and gluten free products, Gran Grans preserves, Berna’s dressings, Filligans relishes and the fantastic range of honeys from Healthy Bee Honey produced locally in Navan.

The team in the Navan store includes Colin Halion who has overseen the establishment of the new outlet, store manager Anna, ably assisted by Deirdre, Olivia and Michaela and recent arrival from Ukraine, Katya.
