Action from Kenstown Rovers v Trim Celtic

Rovers hit back to halt high-flying Trim side

It's not over until it's over. Kentstown Rovers proved that last night when they bounced back from going a goal down against high-flying Trim Celtic to earn a dramatic draw in the NEFL Premier.

Matthew Poutch popped with a late equaliser at Kentstown with the player spectacularly drilling the ball to the net in the closing minutes of a full-on contest.

Earlier Luke Mahon had given Trim Celtic the lead while Brian Faulkner and Dean Courtney also went close for Robbie Horgan's well-drilled side.

Trim Celtic didn't do their cause any good when they had Cian Quinn sent off early in the second-half but they still remained a big threat with Dean Courtney and Mark Leavy outstanding.

Kentstown Rovers, who are managed by Noel Walsh and Stephen Laverty, kept battling away with Leo Mendes and David Bowens going close to finding the net before Poutch struck late on.
