Apolo has been missing since December 14.

Reward increased for return of dog missing in Westmeath

The owner of a much-loved dog who went missing in Westmeath last month has increased the reward offered for his safe return.

Mariana Caran had been hoping for “a Christmas miracle” after her pet, Apolo, went missing in the Milltownpass area of the county on December 14.

However, almost three weeks later, Apolo is still missing and Mariana said he could be anywhere.

"My family is destroyed without our dog. He is my world.

“...He is like a son to me, a part of my family. We are offering €1,000 reward for his safe return,” she said.

Anyone who has spotted Apolo, or has any information on the dog's whereabouts, is asked to please contact: 089 6180257.
