Another award for Vikki Wall

The honours just keep coming for Meath star Vikki Wall as she collected back-to-back PwC GPA Women’s Player of the Month Awards after her heroic displays helped the Royals to a first Brendan Martin Cup title with a sensational victory over five-in-a-row chasing Dublin in the final.

Wall had previously won the award in August with team-mate Emma Duggan honoured in July.

Meath enjoyed a brilliant season with their rise to senior glory from last year’s intermediate triumph.

Wall also revealed that she wouldn't rule out a move to the Australian Women's Football League in the future.

"It’s definitely something I have an interest in, but I’m in Ireland for the while anyway," the Dunboyne player said.

"I did the AFLW combine in 2019. I went over for just four days. I've had a few conversations over the last year or so, but it's still up in the air.

"It's an interesting one to watch, and see the girls doing so well over there.

"It's something I wouldn't rule out in the future, but at the moment I'm happy, I'm going back to do my masters in DCU, starting this week.

"I'll be here for this year, and committing to Meath this year, and really hoping to do well again next year," concluded the Player of the Month.
