Writer Fiona Sherlock will host an outdoor writing class in Bective Mill this Sunday, 25th July, at 12 noon. The hour-long class will cover tools and techniques for starting creative writing or establishing a writing routine.

She says: "This summer we're all spending more time in nature getting to experience a very different way of life. The pandemic has sparked a huge wave of creativity, and I wanted to host a writing class surrounded by the beauty of nature. The banks of the river Boyne at Bective Mill is the perfect venue for a safe and unique experience. Whether you're just thinking about taking up the pen, or if you've been writing for a while now, all levels of experience are welcome."

The fee is €10 and participants are asked to bring a notebook and a pen. This is the first in a series of outdoor events Fiona will host at Bective Mill. Advance registration is essential, email fionamsherlock@gmail.com to book.
