Jamie McGrath on the mark again

Athboy man Jamie McGrath hit double figures for St Mirren as he showed no ill effects of a recent injury by converting an 82nd minute penalty for a 1-0 win against Ross County yesterday.

The victory keeps St Mirren in sixth place in the Scottish Premiership and four points clear of seventh-placed Dundeee Utd.

It was a 10th goal of the season in all competitions for McGrath who made the move last year to Scotland from the League of Ireland having established himself initially with St Patrick's Athletic and then with Dundalk.

Next up for St Mirren is a trip to play Rangers next Saturday.
