Dundalk double for Lynam family

Daughter Sarah Lynam set the challenge and dad Eddie answered as the Lynam family enjoyed a Dundalk double this evening.

Sarah got the ball rolling when winning with Tyrconnell - a sixth win in total of which four were at Dundalk.

The other two wins were achieved on a similar type surface on the strand at Laytown.

Not to be left in the shadow on this occasion Eddie produced Sister Lola, which he also owns and bred, to fly the flag for the men.

Sister Lola hadn't won in nine previous outings, but got the job done this evening beating the Sheila Lavery-trained Sideshow Bob and Robbie Colgan by a neck.
