Watermains flushing in north Navan this week

Outages and temporary discoloured water may be experienced

Irish Water is working with Meath County Council to carry out essential watermains flushing securing the water supply for customers in Windtown Road, Silverlawn, Abbeygrove, Ferndale and Abbeylands Crescent. While works on ongoing customers in these locations may experience temporary discoloured water, low water pressure and/or water outages for short periods from today, Monday 22nd February to Friday 26th February between 10am and 6pm daily.

It may take up to three hours for normal water supply to return to all customers but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.

Irish Water and Meath County Council say they understand the inconvenience caused when flushing works occur and thank customers for their patience while completing these essential works and restoring normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regret any inconvenience caused.

The latest updates on these works will be available on the supply and service section of website https://www.water.ie. The Irish Water customer care helpline is open 24/7 and customers can call on 1850 278 278. Customers can also make contact on Twitter @IWCare with any queries.
