Coscoran on Irish team for Euro Championships

Star of the Sea athlete Andrew Coscoran is one of 24 athletes who has been selected for the Irish team for next month's European Indoor Athletics Championships in Torun, Poland from 5th - 7th March.

However, before that Coscoran will be in action at the World Athletics Indoor Tour Final in Madrid this week on Wednesday and Meath sports enthusiats will be able to watch the action.

World Athletics and TG4 have announced that the station will broadcast the World Athletics Indoor Tour final live and exclusive from Madrid on Wednesday afternoon.

Five athletes from Ireland will be participating and the action will be live on TG4

1500m - Andrew Coscoran Star of the Sea A.C (Meath).

800m - Nadia Power Dublin City Harriers and Louise Shanahan Leevale AC (Cork).

60m - Leon Reid Menapians A.C (Wexford).

60m Hurdle - Sarah Lavin Emerald AC (Limerick).

WEDNESDAY 24th FEBRUARY

Live coverage will begin at 3.55pm and will include all the races up to the last race at 6.10pm.
