Tiger Roll fades in home straight and finishes tired

Tiger Roll returned to action in the Boyne Hurdle and was well in the race for jockey Keith Donoghue turning into the home straight.

However, between the third last and last hurdles the TIger faded out of the race.

Trainer Gordon Elliott was disappointed with the run while jockey Keith Donoghue said Tiger roll hated the going.

“Keith said he travelled well to the third last, in horrible ground, and just got tired," stated Elliott.

Elliott had the favourite in the race - Fury Road - but it was beaten by a neck as Noel Meade's Beacon Edge shaded the verdict - both owned by Gigginstown
