Beach party in first at Navan

The return of Tiger Roll to the racecourse only weeks before the Cheltenham Festival and Aintree in April is the main focus of attention at Navan today, but his trainer Gordon Elliott got off to a good start landing the opener with Coko Beach.

Jack Kennedy pertnered Coko Beach to victory in the Grade A Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase at Gowran Park at the end of January.

The duo teamed up again and were successful today winning the Ten Up (Grade 2) Novice Chase by a comfortable four lengths.

Cheltenham is next on the radar for the Gigginstown-owned six-year-old with NH Chase the most likely but a couple of Grade 1 Novice Chases are also on the radar.
