Christmas auction at Usher of Kells

Usher Auctions of Kells has everything you need for a traditional Christmas at home in their December sale on Monday 7th December at 12 noon. Included in this auction is a very good antique French Boulle cabinet, in the Seery family, Kilcarn, Navan, for three generations, with estimate €2,000 - €3,000.

500 lots include an exceptional quality large furnished dolls house designed by Keith Mosse based on the vendors’ own home (estimate €1,200 - €1,500), a collection of vintage children’s toys including an electric Rolls Royce (€200 - €300), rocking horses, blue pedal tank engine, Victorian horse and gig (€600 - €900), Scalextric, pinball, board games and other stocking fillers to enchant children both big and small on Christmas morning.

Collectors will not be disappointed with rare Player’s Please GAA figures (Estimate €400 - €600 each), old projectors, cameras and slides, and pub ephemera.

To create the perfect Christmas day at home there are dinner services (Royal Albert, Mason), canteens of cutlery, glassware, tablecloths and linen, sets of chairs, large rugs, Chesterfield chairs and sofas and a 12 feet dining table (€1,400 - €1,800). There is even a blue Willow Pattern turkey plate!

Prints and paintings including Kernoff, Knuttel, Alexander Williams, Snaffles hunt scenes. In addition, there is a special clearance of rosewood pieces, Victorian credenza (€2,000 - €3,000), very fine silk rugs (as new, estimate €1,000 - €1,200) and a six feet country pine dresser (€600 - €800).
