Burst water main at Newtown, Trim, under repair

Irish Water is working with Meath County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply in Newtown, Trim. Crews are working to repair the burst watermain as quickly and as safely as possible.

Properties in this area may be impacted by disruption to their supply while the repairs are underway. The repairs are expected to be completed by 4pm. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take one to two hours to return as water refills the network.

Irish Water says it understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while working to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Irish Water and Meath County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
