Colin Keane stays five clear in title race

After the weekend racing action concluded at Naas today the standings in the race for the flat title show Colin Keane with a lead of five (89-84) on Shane Foley.

Keane was on duty at Ascot yesterday and Foley had one winner at Leopardstown to get the gap down to four.

However, at Naas today Keane was in double form with Foley adding one to his tally.

Keane took the opener with the Ger Lyons-trained Power Under Me which made a winning debut in a maiden and the duo combined with Ecliptical to land the valuable Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Race Final.

Foley won the Bluebell Stakes with the Jessica Harrington-trained Barrington Court.

The duel for the title will continue at Gowran Park tomorrow.
