NEFL 40th Anniversary Cup draw

This season the North Eastern Football League (formerly Meath & District League) will have an extra competition to mark 40 years since the foundation of the Mid-Meath League.

The Mid-Meath League was formed in 1980 and became the Meath & District League for the 1984 / 1984 season and that then changed to the NEFL.

The one-off 40th Anniversary Commemorative Cup is an optional competition this season and has been well supported by clubs.

The draw for the first round was made this evening and includes KIlmessan and Robinstown, original members of the Mid-Meath League.

The draw for the Reserve Cup was also made.
