Rogers on PFAI team
Bohermeen man Gary Rogers has been named on the Professional Footballers' Association of Ireland (PFAI) team of the year for 2012. Rogers helped Sligo Rovers to the Premier League title this season for the first time in 35 years. The Meath man, a former Meath GAA footballer, is expected to play in tomorrow night's final game of the season in Sligo when the trophy will be presented after missing last week's game in Drogheda. Rogers moved to the Connacht club this season after a successful spell with St Patrick's Athletic. The team is comprised of players from Sligo Rovers, St Patrick's Ath, Derry City and Shamrock Rovers.
