Third Age volunteers

Third Age, the Summerhill-based organisation which promotes and celebrates the contribution of older people throughout Ireland, is seeking volunteers in Meath and north Dublin who are interested in becoming advocates. The Third Age National Advocacy Programme was set up to empower older people in residential care to effectively voice their needs and wishes, access their entitlements and assert their rights. Third Age is looking for volunteers who are interested in working with older people to commit to an 10-week training course and have three hours a week to spare.
