Kells musician Michael Brunnock has just returned from his European tour and will play The Vintage Lounge, at The Central, Navan, this Thursday, 31st October at 9pm. Michael, resident in New York 12 for years, is passionate about connecting with his audience through music in an intimate setting for a truly enjoyable experience for all. His unique vocals are featured on six songs from the film ‘This Must be the Place’, starring Sean Penn. The music was written by David Byrne (Talking Heads) and Will Oldham (Bonny ‘Prince’ Billy) with 'If it Falls, it Falls' winning a David di Donatello award in Italy.
Michael has many exciting projects in the making. He is currently collaborating with Italian producers ‘The Ceasars’ who he met at the award ceremony, both nominated in the ‘Best Song’ category and now have just released a new single ‘Red Line’ together.
Another exciting project under development is his multimedia presentation and musical interpretation of the life of Sir Roger Casement. As an International humanitarian and hero of 1916, Casement’s legacy is being acknowledged and celebrated at a conference called ‘Sir Roger Casement; The Glocal Imperative’, in Tralee, Co Kerry. Michael is a delegate and is also performing at this conference.
Tickets, €7.50, are available from The Central or by reserving for door collection by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
