Bord Gáis Energy is giving talent from across Meath the chance to support chart-topping girl band The Saturdays at a once-off charity concert at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on Thursday, 28th March.
This special concert marks Bord Gáis Energy's second annual event in aid of the Society of St Vincent de Paul and all proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the charity. Bord Gáis Energy will also match the amount for every ticket sold.
The competition is open to all types of entertainment acts aged 16 and over. Three lucky winners from around Ireland will be chosen to support The Saturdays at this special charity event.
To enter, simply upload a video of your act to the Bord Gáis Energy Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BordGaisEnergy no later than 5pm on Monday, 4th March and you could be performing on stage the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre!
Una Healy of The Saturdays said: "We would like to wish everyone taking part in the competition the very best of luck and we look forward to seeing the winning acts perform on stage on March 28th. All the girls are really excited about performing at this special event and of course performing to a home crowd always makes the night extra special for me. It's fantastic that Bord Gáis Energy is supporting the Society of the St Vincent de Paul which does really great work in communities throughout Ireland."
Irene Gowing, Sponsorship Manager, Bord Gáis Energy said: "We are delighted to give entertainment acts across the country and indeed in Laois the opportunity of a lifetime to perform at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre and to support The Saturdays. Not only will they get a taste of the spotlight but they will also be part of this special concert in aid of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Last year's Bill Bailey event was a great success, raising €200,000, and we are confident that we'll raise a similar donation this year."
Tickets for the special charity show are priced from €20 - €35 and are available to Bord Gáis Energy customers via www.bordgaisenergyrewards.ie and on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster.
