Limited run of 'Arms and the Man' in Athboy

Fergal Fitzpatrick as Captain Bluntschli and Martha Finnegan as Raina in rehearsals for Athboy Drama Society's production of 'Arms and the Man' by George Bernard Shaw.

Athboy Drama Society presents Irish Nobel prize winner George Bernard Shaw's play 'Arms and the Man' at 8pm in St James' Hall, Athboy, from Thursday 22nd to Saturday 24th March, for a limited three-night run.

The comedy is a humorous exploration of the futility of war and the hypocrisies of human nature and was one of Shaw's earliest commercial successes. Directed by Theresa Coleman, this production is sure to mark another unmissable performance from the Athboy Drama Society.
