OMP hit four against Ardee

Navan club OMP Utd did their own version of a certain Champions League encounter last night and even went one better in a crucial NEFL Premier tie.

OMP took the crucial three points as they blitzed Louth visitors Ardee Celtic with a four-goal salvo for a 4-0 victory.

Jamie Blake was the sharpshooter with a sensational hat-trick while Rob Coombes also got in on the act with a well-taken goal.

The win is a major boost to OMP's prospects of staying the Premier League in their first season back in the top grade after winning the Div 1 title last season under the management of David Doyle.

OMP were two up at half-time and scored two more in the second half.  Super team performance with Blake, Conor Walsh, Ciaran O'Hanlon and  Gary Gibney to the fore
