Gary Rogers on FAI Cup duty

Gary Rogers was on duty today for a different kind of action as he assisted with the draw for qualifying round of the FAI Cup.

Some 20 teams have played through the various rounds of the FAI Intermediate Cup and also via the FAI Junior Cup and four of them received byes today - Home Farm, Cockhill Celtic, Newmarket Celtic and Blarney United.

Tony Fitzgerald, President of the Football Association of Ireland president Tony Fitzgerald was joined by Rogers and Irish Daily Mail circulation manager David Vaz. The FAI Cup is sponsored by the irish Daily Mail again this season.

For the 16 teams that were drawn the following ties will be played with a real Dublin Derby between Inchicore Ath and Crumlin Utd.
