Parkvilla girls facing a big challenge against Shelbourne

Shelbourne Ladies u-14s will be in action against Navan side Parkvilla Belles at the MDL on Saturday 7th January with a 1pm kick-off with up to five playes from Meath in the panel.

According to Shelbourne team manager Karen O'Connell, 'The team that won the League / League Cup and All Ireland contains five of Meath's finest.'

They are identified in the photo as follows: back - second from the left is Jodie McQuillan who is a sister of Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Amanda McQuillan, back row right - Sophie Murray and second from the right is Shannon Guildea who recently made the Meath GAA panel; in the front fourth from the right is Aoife Waldron and third from the left is Emily Flynn.

Shelbourne have been hugely successful at under-age level, losing just once in the four years since this team came together at u-10 level, but Parkvilla will
provide them with a decent challenge.
