Seven in-a-row for Faulkner

Trim Celtic's Brian Faulkner scored for the seventh game in-a-row and took his tally of goals for that period to 12 as he helped his club to a 4-3 victory against Woodview Celtic at the MDL, Navan on Sunday.

Trim Celtic survived the dismissal of James Goggins and came from behind to snatch the North East Football League Premier Division points when Faulkner hit the winner, his second goal of the game, in the 84th minute.

Sean Fitzgerald pounced on a loose ball to give the Trim side the lead and a minute later Faulkner kept his amazing scoring spree intact when he hit the target.

Woodview Celtic stormed back and two minutes after the break netted from a corner. They drew level on 70 minutes before the forged ahead from a penalty.

However, Trim continued their recent run of excellent form and drew level from a Paul Campbell penalty with super striker Faulkner hitting that late winner.
