Challenge Cup game switched to Kentstown

The Challenge Cup game between Trim Celtic and Kentstown that was due to be played at Tully Park on Sunday has been switched to Kentstown with the same kick-off time of 11.45.

Trim Celtic go into the game on the back of a number of impressive cup triumphs towards the end of 2013.

Alan Kirwan's side defeated Corrib Rangers 3-0 in the FAI Junior Cup and followed that impressive feat with a win over Navan Cosmos in the Leinster Junior Cup. That game ended 3-3 at the end of extra-time with Trim Celtic winning 6-5 on penalties.

Now the Hoops seek to make further progress in the Challenge Cup against a Kentstown outfit who are at the business end of the MDL Div 1 table and who will surely prove to be very, awkward opponents on their own patch.

Both camps will be hoping that the rain stays away in the lead up to kick-off.
