Dunboyne man back with Drogheda Utd

Brady originally signed for Drogheda in 2012 and has been a very popular member of the Drogheda squad for the past two seasons.

Of the 12 league games in which he played for the full 90 minutes last season, Drogheda lwere unbeaten. He formerly played with Bohemians, Kildare County and Longford Town.

'I'm extremely pleased to have secured this signature. Cathal is a very talented midfielder and a very positive influence both on and off the pitch,” said Robbie Horgan.

“Once again I have to point to the fact that having the right character and mentality is hugely important in the squad that I am building and Cathal is one of the players that I had hoped would remain with us.

'I know that he will give 100 per cent and I believe that his perseverance and commitment will be a contributory factor in how we measure up next season,” he added.

The 2014 League of Ireland season will kick-off on Friday 7th March.
