Ratty strikes late for Parkvilla

Kenny Ratty swept home a last-gasp goal to give Parkvilla a dramatic victory over Newbridge Town in the FAI Intermediate Cup at Claremont Stadium last night. Ratty struck in the 91st minute getting to the end of a Dan Ennis corner to steer the ball to the net. Earlier in the second-half Stephen McCrossan converted a penalty for the Navan side before Eoin Doyle equalised for the visitors. Ennis also had a penalty attempt saved by the Newbridge Town goalkeeper in the second-half. Dave O'Neill (pictured left) also went close for the home team. Extra-time loomed when Ratty came up with the winner to send the Parkvilla supporters into raptures.
