MDL win again

The Meath & District League set themselves up for a place in the knock-out stages of the FAI Oscar Traynor Trophy with a eine win over Wicklow last night.

Meath proved too strong for Wicklow and were convincing 6-1 winners although they were a goal down in 20 seconds. Paddy Quinn equalised for the MDL.

Further goals from Gary Clarke (two), Quinn, David ward and Ger McSorley sealed the victory.
