Navan side Parkvilla continued their great form in cup competitions when they travelled to Dublin today and came away from Blanchardstown with a 1-1 draw against top side Verona.
The Meath men were unlucky not to advance to the next round of the FAI INtermediate Cup as they missed a first-half penalty.
However, they were ahead at the interval from a fine Dave O'Neill goal and Verona also had a man red-carded before the break.
Verona got back on terms early in the second-half and Parkvilla were unable to conjure up a winner.
Verona now face the prospects of a pre-Christmas trip to Claremont Stadium where the home fans are sure to come out in large numbers to get behinf their local team.
