Gary Rogers playing for Meath GAA team against Kildare.

Big day for Gary

Bohermeen man Gary Rogers will be eager to keep another cleansheet for Sligo Rovers in this afternoon's televised (RTE2 3.30) League of Ireland top of the table clash against St Patrick's Athletic. If Rogers can achieve that and Sligo take a point from the home game they will be able to win the title next week in Drogheda. However, a victory for Sligo Rovers today will secure the title with two games to spare. The game is already sold-out with the 5,000 capacity of the ground likely to be tested. Rogers has played in all the 27 games in the league this season plus a voided game against Monaghan. Sligo Rovers have not won the title since 1977.
