Meath into FAI Oscar Traynor trophy

The FAI have included the Meath & District League in this year's Oscar Traynor Trophy it emerged this morning. The MDL were initially informed some weeks ago that they had not been included, but the local soccer league will be heartened by this reprieve. The MDL have wasted no time in getting their preparations going and manager Paddy Reilly, with assistance from PRO Justin Burke and former Trim Celtic manager Brian McCreary will assess players over the next week or so with the opening game schedueld for next month. MDL team is included with , Leinster Football League, Leinster Senior League, Garda Metro and Wicklow Fixtures First round - Meath v Garda Second round - LSL v Meath Third round - Meath v Wicklow Fourth round - LFL v Meath All group matches must be completed by 31st of December. .
