Meath teams slump
MEATH teams look like losing out in the race for the MDL Div 1 title as Dundalk side Woodview shape up as likely champions following two victories last week, 4-0 over Botown and 1-0 against Bellurgan.
Woodview have also benefited from the receipt of three points following the demise of Oldcastle who did not field on Sunday and have now been eliminated.
Woodview were a point behind Navan Town a week ago, but are now eight points clear following Navan Town midweek defeat (0-1) by Navan Cosmos. That leaves Botown, Cosmos and OMP all chasing Navan Town for the runner-up position.
