Top award for Bryan McKeever

Navan RFC player Bryan McKeever scooped a Leinster Player of the Year accolade for the All-Ireland League at the annual awards this week at the Aviva Stadium.

Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt was on hand at the home of Irish Rugby, the Aviva Stadium, to present the awards across all divisions of the Ulster Bank-sponsored All-Ireland League.

The award winners and nominees were selected by a panel of judges - Adam Redmond, Donn O'Sullivan, Richard Mulligan and Nicky Comyn.

Provincial winners were decided by a public vote. The winners were as follows:

Player of the Year Div 1A: Conor Kindregan, Cork Constitution
Top try scorer Div 1A: Mick McGrath, Clontarf
Top Points Scorer Div 1A: Scott Deasy, Lansdowne
Rising Star of the Year - Div 1A: Joey Carbery, Clontarf
Coach of the Year - Div 1A: Andy Wood, Clontarf
Player of the Year - Div 1B: Angus Lloyd, Dublin University
Player of the Year - Div 2A: Charlie O'Regan, UCC
Player of the Year - Div 2B: Paddy O'Toole, Highfield
Player of the Year - Div 2C: Brendan Guilfoyle, Old Cresent
PRO of the Year: Robin McGloughlin and Marc Eadie, Banbridge

Provincial Players of the Year
Connacht  - Stephen Kerins, Sligo
Leinster - Bryan McKeever, Navan
Munster - Sean Duggan, Young Munster
Ulster - Aaron Cairns, Ballynahinch

Navan finished sixth in the AIL Div 2C and will be aiming to improve on that for next season with the action for 2016 / 2017 set to start next September.
