Meath players on successful North Kildare team

North Kildare Rugby Club which is located between Kilcock and Maynooth had success at Donnybrook on Bank Holiday Monday last with a number of Meath players involved.

The North Kildare under-16 team won the Leinster Cup with a tremendous performance in the final.

On the way to the decider they recorded victories over Portarlington, Edenderry, Navan and Gorey and then they defeated a top class Naas side by 48 -24 in the final.

The team is well represented with Meath players including Fergal Waters and Brendan Kennedy from Dunboyne, Ronan Larkin from Summerhill, Eoin Corrigan from Kiltale and Sean Cosgrave, Evan Harris, Odran O Raghaill, Cormac Fawcett and Ross Hubner who are all from Enfield.

The team is coached by John Larkin from Summerhill and John Cosgrove from Enfield.
