Navan win well at Balreask Old

Navan got their third AIL Div 2C win of the season this afternoon at Balreask Old when they proved too resilient for Cork side Kanturk with a 24-3 victory.

However, Kanturk opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Ben Martin converted a penalty, but Alan  Kingsley restored parity from a penalty.

David Clarke's try converted by Kingsley helped Navan to a '10-3 interval advantage that was well deserved.

With Kingsley going over for a try, which he converted, soon after the resumption, it gave Navan a 17-3 advantage.

In injury-time Robbie Waters went over and Kingsley again converted to complete the tally
