Navan slump to second defeat

Navan produced their most disapopointing performance of the year at Balreask Old today as they failed to score and were beaten 0-15 by Cork side Sundays Well in their AIL Div 2B clash.

It really was a dreadful performance from the home side as they struggled to must any serious chances and trailed 0-9 at the break following the concession of three soft penalties.

Navan did have a major shout for a penalty try in the second-half that might have turned the game in their favour, but they were denied.

Sundays Well finished with two more late penalties to seal only their second win and condemn Navan to their second defeat from five games.
